DSIP - 10ml/10mg - Spray
Delta sleep-inducing peptide (DSIP) is a neuropeptide that has been investigated in experimental and preclinical research settings for its involvement in the regulation of multiple endocrine and physiological processes, particularly those related to sleep–wake modulation and adaptive stress responses.
Experimental studies suggest that DSIP may be associated with:
Modulation of sleep-related physiological processes
Regulation of sleep quality under conditions of chronic sleep disruption
Adaptive responses to physiological and psychological stress
Influence on autonomic and cardiovascular regulatory parameters
Modulation of pain-related sensory processing

DESCRIPTION
Delta sleep-inducing peptide (DSIP) was first isolated in 1977 from mammalian brain tissue. It is a naturally occurring nonapeptide that has been investigated in experimental models for its involvement in sleep regulation and circadian rhythm modulation.
Research literature describes DSIP as being associated with delta-wave activity in electroencephalographic (EEG) recordings. Endogenous DSIP concentrations appear to fluctuate in a diurnal pattern, with measurable variations observed between morning and afternoon plasma levels in human studies.
Experimental findings suggest that DSIP may interact with mechanisms involved in sleep–wake regulation, particularly under conditions of sleep disruption. In healthy subjects without sleep disturbances, reported physiological effects have generally been minimal.
DSIP has also been explored in preclinical and exploratory clinical settings in relation to circadian rhythm modulation, stress response, and sleep architecture.
Additional laboratory investigations have examined its interaction with monoamine oxidase type A (MAO-A) activity and serotonergic pathways under hypoxic or stress-related conditions.
Preclinical models have also evaluated DSIP in relation to nociceptive signaling, mitochondrial respiration, and oxidative stress parameters, focusing on mechanistic insights rather than therapeutic application.
Altered DSIP-like immunoreactivity has been reported in certain psychiatric research contexts, including studies examining depressive disorders and stress-associated sleep disturbances.
Overall, DSIP continues to be studied as a research peptide for understanding regulatory mechanisms involved in sleep modulation, neurochemical balance, and cellular stress response.
